About Grants & Communications

Communications staff provide trainings for district educators with policies when working with news media outlets, social media and website development/maintenance. The Grants and Communications Department support all middle and high schools and administrative management with internal and external communications. Various duties include media relations, community relations, crisis communications, employee communications, event management, parent communications and website/graphic design.

News is publicized through our bi-monthly publication of our district newsletter, Sweetwater Must-Sees. We feature news stories and videos on our district website via YouTube and also play host to the SUHSD All-Stars podcast, dedicated to highlighting education-related topics and all-star individuals throughout the Sweetwater Union High School District.
